Hi, my name is Richard Healey, I live and work in Hong Kong. For some time I've been interested in trying to find ways to obtain free scholarships for people from developing countries. I'd like to share with you some of the information and opportunities I've discovered whilst looking into this area. Also, I'd like to ask for your help in reaching more people who deserve a chance, but who probably are not connected to the internet. | |||||||||||||||||||||||

I've had some success with an Australian/Hong Kong group called Sino-Australian Education. This group will fund several fully funded scholarships twice a year. So far, Sino-Australian have concentrated on offering help to people from China, but have indicated that they would be interested in helping people from other developing countries. This group limit their help to people aged between 16 and 30, and studies are limited to undergraduate university and college programmes. Sino-Australian wishes it known that there is no consideration of race, sex, politics or religion in their scholarship programmes. | |||||||||||||||||||||||
